Getting paint off old brass

Any paint solvent ought to do this: turpentine ⇦this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] , mineral spirits ⇦this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] , paint thinner. etc. Hopefully you will not need a methylene chloride stripper because the fumes are very dangerous to your health.
