Why Electropolish?
It is Quite unclear to me why you would go through the time and expense of electropolishing to obtain a good fit when we have such accurate investments available to us today.

I suppose your letter was in response to some previous inquiry or statement, Prabhu, but it's hard to tell what you were responding to. I would tend to agree that it's not especially useful or necessary as a dimensional control tool, if that's what the inquiry was about. Electropolishing is more about brightness, a passive surface for corrosion resistance, and freedom from the furrows that result from machining operations.
