Painting Aluminum Boat

I am restoring an old Aluminum boat and want to know the process to do a proper job of it. I have already sanded down all of the old paint to bare metal. I am now ready to paint. What next?

Thanks for your time,

I would like to re-paint my aluminum boat. The paint has both oxidized and chipped. I understand that painting aluminum calls for special preparations and primers. I would appreciate your help.

I have gotten my 14' alum boat down to bare metal. I now want to prime it and spray a custom paint job over the primer. I have searched everything I can think of to find the right primer and finish coats but to no avail. Please HELP...

Painting over existing finish on aluminum? I have a boat to paint and was wondering if I could treat and prime the finish already applied to my boat?

Can an aluminum trapper canoe be painted? How? I would like my 17 ft. aluminum trapper canoe to look like the canoes from my camp.
(Dark Green with Orange belly band). Can this be done? All suggestions as to prep, type of paint, etc. appreciated.
