Polishing aluminum motorcycle frame
Q. I wanted to know if it is possible to polish my aluminum motorcycle frame of my Yamaha without tearing the bike completely down? I like the look of a polished frame but I want to accomplish it with as little teardown as possible.

You have to take off your fairings gas tank and swingarm at least, or it will look crappy--struggling with the same problem right now. It sucks and be warned it's not easy, takes forever. try on little parts first.

Hi, Patrick. letters 800,
1831, and
10917 go into substantial detail about aluminum polishing. Good luck!
