Clear Chromate Coating

We are interested in establishing Clear Chromate coating on Aluminium parts . Please suggest us about the detailed process and chemicals used. Your early reply will be highly appreciated .

In the USA, we would use proprietary products that meet the QPL-Quality Products List of the Mil Specs. It saves money in the long run by not having to thrash around developing processes and controls. The two widest known products are Alodine and Iridite, and I believe both are sold in India.
