Mixing Rule for Resistivity of Water
Suppose there are two water streams of resistivities R1 and R2, and we combine the streams. Is there a way to obtain the resulting stream's resistivity? (i.e., is there a mixing rule for resistivity?)
Thanks,

If the two streams had the same conducting medium in them, I think averaging the conductivity would probably be applicable over a small range. But if they are dissimilar, all bets are off--mix an NaOH stream with an HCl stream and the conductivity of the mix will be lower than the conductivity of either component.
