Inhibitors for hydrochloric acid

2003

Dear sir,

What are the best quality inhibitor that is used for hydrochloric acid in case of hot rolled coil pickling and also the best suitable anti-fuming agents? I will be grateful to you if you can reply at your earliest convenience as early as possible.

Thanking you,

I have used Armohib 28 supplied by Akzo. Hydrochloric acid containing a percent does not attack steels. If you do not find the company in your area you could try Holland or the UK. Nick
