Zinc Plating Appearance Problems

We are seeking a means of coating parts that is more consistent than the finish we have been getting by specifying Zinc plating on steel and Anodized finishes on aluminum. We currently refer to the ASTM specs on our drawing but that has not assured us of consistent appearance.

Dear Jim ,

You & only you know the areas of use of your product therefore it is best that you use the ASTM specifications as a guide only and produce your own specifications based upon them .

Be demanding & very specific in what you want , need more advice employ an experienced consultant to prepare the specifications for you.
