Chrome Plate - "Frosty"
Per BAC 5709, 11.2.b Chrome plating shall be free from "Frosty" areas. What does this look like and what are the causes?

Frosty looks like a frosted glass or a barely frosted glass. Cause is the wrong amperage for the tank/part temperature or the chemistry out of balance (Chrome-sulphate ratio).
