Rust Prevention
I would like to save my Toyota Hiace Van from rusting any further. Is ther an effective electrical cathode system and has anybody had experiences with this system, good or bad and whic brands?

I find it hard to believe that any such device actually works because a galvanic protection system requires two circuits:
1). A metallic path for the electrons to follow, and
2). An ionic path.
A ship submerged in water easily meets that criteria; but how, in an automobile, do you maintain the wet circuit from the anode to the metal that you are trying to protect. Someone educate me if I'm missing something.
