Matching paint specs using international standards

I am trying to match paint on steel machine frames to an international standard. The only information I have is that the standard paint used was "RAL 9001, Silk Gloss." Can anyone guide me to a cross reference, or know of a source for buying matching paint in the US?

Try the site of the German RAL institute. They have cross-references, etc. available. www.ral.de
