Green Copper Patina
I desire to treat copper roofing and outdoor lighting fixtures to acquire a green patina without going through the "browning" stage. What chemical may I use to accelerate this process?

WHAT CHEMICAL DO I USE TO ACHIEVE THE GREEN EFFECT RAPIDLY ON BRIGHT NEW COPPER WITHOUT GOING THROUGH THE BROWN STAGE FIRST. ALSO, DOES THE CHEMICAL I USE HAVE ANY ADVERSE SIDE EFFECTS WITH ROOF BOARDS, ASPHALT AND FIBREGLASS ROOFING MATERIALS?
