Wanted: Shaft for Plastic Bearing

I am a product development engineer and am developing a new product for a larger company to manufacture and market. One of my needs is to have a bearing that is not damaged by water. For this bearing I need a Hard Anodized Aluminum Shaft. How do I procure HARD ANODIZED Aluminum Tube 3/8" OD for use as a shaft for a bushing service. Can I get this premade or do I have to send aluminum tube to an "anodizer"?

It needs to be sent out for hardcoat anodizing after any machining (cutting to length, chamfering, cutting of shoulders, etc.) is done.
