Is NC lacquer compatible with oil paints

I am planning to custom paint my acoustic guitar. Can nitrocellulose lacquer be applied over an oil based paint--even when it has been finely sanded and thinly applied? I will be using oil paints my design by brush..and finish it with NC lacquer.

NC based products are not compatible with oil based products. There is a likely chance that oil based coating will come of as soon as nc based coating is applied. On oil based coating you can go in for melamine clear instead of nc lacquer it will give the same result and it supports wood. bye
