Problem Machining Aluminum

I am machining aluminum 356 and white spots freckle the entire machined surface. I do not have any other surface treatments but simply need to remove these spots. Someone please end my suffering!

First of all I'd try to eliminate the cause of the specs. Are they there before you start your machining operation? If they are not, I'd look into your cutting fluids or environmental conditions.

The spots are very probably pits or cold shuts in the casting. Buy a better quality casting from a better shop.
