Help with accelerated rusting of steel/iron
I am making some crosses (religious) for interior decoration to hang on walls. They are made from mild steel 1/2" square tubing with cast iron decorative ends. I have seen these in stores and they are rusted to make them look old. Is there a quick way to rust this metal, maybe through the application of a chemical(s), rather than just leaving them outside for several months/years.
