Colorizing of steel product
2003
Dear Sirs,
I'd like to make my steel made workpieces colorized (OD 30mm. - ID 25 mm. - Length 50 mm). I expect that this technique should be a electro-chemical process. Maybe something like plating. I have seen this before on TEFAL products. Tefal's steel made pans, which are green or red, don't get affected from heat and don't lose their color. I think that this is related with a different colorizing method. I'm looking for such a method and waiting for help. Also I'd like to add that I'm not a pan producer.
Many Thanks,
O. Can YAZICIYAMATO - Izmir, Turkey
Some of their pans have enamel exteriors, so most colors are possible. The interiors have a proprietary non-stick coating; on some it is PTFE (Teflon®).

Rest in peace, Ken. Thank you for your hard work which the finishing world, and we at finishing.com, continue to benefit from.
