Zinc plating specification questions

I am trying to Identify a zinc plating specification for a product we are quoting. The call out on the part print is in German. The specification my customer gave me is GS 90010: 2001-07. I have gathered that the Specification is for a hexavalent chrome free zinc or zinc flake coating silver in color. Is there anyone out there who can help direct me to what the part print requires as far as plating thickness and salt spray requirements. Also is there a comparable GM or ASTM specification that will meet the requirements?

I would suggest that you contact a chemical supplier and / or customer and put the project together there is many acceptable non chrome chromates out there, Some specs from Gm or the alike are out there but hard to say if you can compare to the european specs, they are changing and backing up.
