Hi,

Galvanizing in India - sounds interesting. Have you done a market research yet? If not, I'll tell you to do that as the first thing.

The hot dip galvanizing process cycles as:

1. Surface preparation
2. Caustic cleaning
3. Rinsing
4. Pickling (acid solution)
5. Rinsing
6. Fluxing
7. Drying
8. Hot dip galvanizing (bath operating temperature is kept between 450-460 C).
9. Inspection and finishing

This is the standard way to do hot dip galvanizing. Some companies around the world do some extras. Some paint the galvanized surfaces (Duplex).

The kettle length is often between 3-15 m. A few companies do have longer kettles - up to 25 m. When using smaller kettles, you will have to "double-dip" long constructions.

How much a complete galvanizing facility costs is a country individual question. How much gear can you buy in India ? How much gear will you have to import (transport and taxing costs). You will need a complete list to predict the exact costs.
