Sulfuric acid anodising mechanism?
I recently looked into defining the "actual" chemical reaction that takes place when anodising aluminum in sulfuric acid. I didn't have much success apart from one document that said the mechanism was very complex and that there wasn't agreement on the mechanism itself (as there was a number of proposed theories). Can you assist me?
