Sir,

I am interested in platinum coating of 5 micron thick on silastic rubber tube of 0.8 mm dia.please advise.

Dr., What you are asking is extremely difficult. Most people will consider that if you asked, you do not know enough about plating for a technical answer. The short answer is it will flake off the first time you flex it. Also note that you did not say ID or OD or both. That also makes a massive amount of difference.
