Cyanide Reduction

Dear Dr.,

I'm great if you send the specification/discrimination of specific resins for removal cyanide.

Congratulations,

Sergio Nicolau Freire Bruno

Any strong base resin, either Type I or Type II will remove cyanides at all pH values. Weak base resins will also work, but only at neutral or acidic pH values. Metal cyanide complexes, however, are held very strongly by strong base resins and are difficult, if not impossible, to regenerate back off of the resins. Weak base resins that have removed metal-cyanide complexes are regenerable with sodium hydroxide.
