Large Copper Sheeting - where to buy

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to cover a 5ft x 5 ft piece of plywood with copper sheeting. Does anyone know where I can purchase copper sheeting this big ? I don't mind if I get some sheeting 1 ft x 5.5 ft - then I can buy several of those, but I would like each of them to at least completely run along one of the sides. Preferably 36 gauge or thereabouts.

Thanks,

Try your local roofing material supplier, quite often they will stock copper sheets 36"x120" for use in fabricating copper roofing items; gutters, eave drip etc.. The most common size/weight is 16 oz. copper and this should be adequate for the usage you describe.
