TGIC polyester powder coat on anodized aluminum
In despite of cost considerations, would powder coating (TGIC polyester) on top of anodized aluminum extrusions further improve the corrosion resistance? Will there be any adhesion problem without the chromated conversion coat?
Please enlighten me.

Yes, it will improve the corrosion resistance, but recognize that architectural anodized aluminum can last decades outdoors, and it's pretty hard to improve on terrific. To maximize adhesion, the anodized aluminum should not be sealed.

Powder coating over commercially anodised aluminium is fraught with adhesion problems. Techniques are becoming available for specially developed thin anodised films that can be used as a conversion coating to replace chromate and or phosphate conversion coatings.
