Insulation coating on aluminium

I want to make a coating on aluminium. The coating should have high electrical insulation and should be scratch proof and should have good adhesion. Can you suggest me the materials?

Sounds like you are talking about anodizing.

HIGH is an extremely relative term. So is scratch resistance.I would be extremely reluctant to specify anodize without having some precise specifics and the end use of the part. Anodize may be great, or it may take hart anodize or it may take a specific powdercoat or maybe there is nothing that will do the job. James Watts
