Muriatic acid and copper
2002
I need to change a copper roof to the color of green as to where it looks as if it has age. I've been told to use muriatic acid ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] . I'm unsure how to do this. Is there a solution to this? Or is it done straight muriatic acid?

Do an Internet search for 'antiquing copper,' 'copper patina' or 'verde copper' to find a product that can be brushed or sprayed and allowed to dry (many products require immersion and/or rinsing).
