To withstand high temperatures
2002
Hi,
I am a student from the Omak High School's Research Science class. I am working with several fuels including gasoline, ethanol, and Jet-A. My question is what type of metal or metal finish would you recommend that can withstand the heat of a oxidized flame and be light-weight. I believe the flame temperature will be approximately 2400 F.
Thanks for your time.

Hi Andrew. I suggest you research the materials of construction and surface coating of jet engine turbines and turbine blades.
