Olive Drab Aluminum
Where can I get information on chemical conversion of Aluminum alloy dyed Olive Drab. Color to be approximately that of FED-STD-595, # 34087.

My company does chemical conversion coatings & anodizing. We currently have a custom dye setup for anodizing olive drab to the color # you reference. As far as dying chromate coatings, the dye mfg's sell dyes for this but I have never seen them work properly.

Joseph,
We specialize in bulk anodizing and chem film on fasteners and have had very good success with dying chem-film olive drab for a couple of our customers. I'll contact you privately with more details.
