Yellow chromating
I am using yellow chromating chemical for the treatment of aluminium(dip application). The dip application is taking 10-15 minutes for the conversion to take place. Can anybody help in achieving the same in a quick time? What should I add to the bath to get the chromating quicker.

While chromating solutions are based on chromic acid and sulfuric acid, Mr. Gegula, there is more to a practical solution than that--as you have discovered. The accelerators and stabilizers are the subject of patents in some cases and trade secrets in other cases.
However, heating the chromating solution to 80 degrees F and air-agitating it will speed up the process a bit.
