Optical flat paint

I am checking on optically flat black paint that could be applied to the inside of microscope parts to reduce or eliminate stray or refracted light. Any suggestions?

Try asking at your local astronomy club or college astronomy dept. It's used in telescopes too. I've seen it advertised but can't remember where; Edmund Scientific in Barrington NJ is a strong possibility though.
