What is "Alodine finish"





Is there anyone out who could explain to me in a short sentence what "Alodine finish" means?

More correctly, ALODINE is a trade name for various conversion coating products manufactured by Henkel. While most of their products are chromate conversion coating chemicals for aluminum such as Alodine 600 and Alodine 1200, they do produce non-chromate conversion products such as Alodine 5200. Your best bet is to contact Henkel.
