Aluminium etching formulas for sculptors

Q. I'm seeking experimental formulas for finishing life size aluminium cast figurative sculptures. There are two goals. One is to etch, masking weld and grind marks. The other is to leave a corrosion on the surface that may act as a finish patina.

Q. We are making metal label, anodise labels, name plates in aluminium, brass,steel and on various other metals.

But what we are now really thinking or searching is for etching process on these various metals specially on aluminium. We are looking for a chemical formula or the method we is easy to use and at the end of day which gives a production as well as quality work through those chemicals. we don't have any engraving machine to work on and if any such alternate is available do let us know at the earliest.

Note we are in to this printing line since last 35 years.
