Chrome Plating PLASTIC Bumpers?
2002
Hello!
I own a 2002 Ford F-150 XL (White). I wanted to have my FRONT low-end bumper part chrome plated. I believe the bumper material is made of ABS, but I'm not sure. Can this be done and if so, what would the estimated cost be?
Thanks again!

I won't go so far as to say "Impossible!", Deleon, but I think it would be many times more expensive and far less satisfactory than finding a chrome plated steel bumper that fits. ABS plastic can be chrome plated; in fact, most automobile grills are chrome plated ABS
-- but this would be trouble.
But this may be a good fit for "chrome-look paint", rather than real chrome plating. Please see the banner at the bottom of the page. Good luck.
