I am looking for my course work for different ways of preventing rusting, please can you help!

Keep it clean, keep it dry, paint it, plate it, put it in a plastic bag.
There are other approaches, Jade, but please tell us what grade you are in. This question obviously cannot be answered the same way for a student in 2nd grade as for a post-doctural student of corrosion engineering :-)
