How to rust-proof golf clubs
Help!
I am wondering how to give my rusty steel golf wedge a rust proof or bluing/gunmetal finish. Any ideas or products? Thanks for the input.

Consumers are familiar with paint and cleaning products in a can or spray bottle--but that's not how bluing is done, Jonathan. You get a finish like that not from a spray can but from a multi-step processing sequence that requires some substantial equipment. Suggest you talk to

But bluing/black oxiding is not really corrosion proof; it's the light oil you keep a blued gun oiled with that keeps it from rusting. If you want a corrosion resistant finish, you probably really want nickel plating in a matte finish. Good luck.
