Protection for buffed surfaces of aluminium parts
2002
We intend to protect the buffed finish of our Aluminium parts ( Engine parts).
Could you please recommend type of clear coat and pre treatment to retain the buffing finish and also protect the luster for a long period.

If you say engine parts, then chromating would be the best answer as it would not affect the base material or critical dimensions.
