Metal Ring Removal From Glass
2002
To dissolve cured epoxy to remove a metal ring with handle from the neck of an antique glass biscuit jar. Can it be done?
Thanks,

Yes, it can be done by using mixtures of solvents like acetone ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] Warning! highly Flammable! , methanol [affil links], ethanol and some aromatic solvents. But care must be taken since majority of this chemicals are highly toxic and flammable.
