Stainless Steels Corrosion by Phosphoric Acid
I am a final year Metallurgical Engineering student doing a project on improving corrosion resistance of stainless steels with special reference to phosphoric acid. Could anybody, anywhere provide me with useful links to sites such as yours or even published materials for my project's literature survey. The results will be published for all those who might be interested.

Phosphoric acid is not used for passivation generally. Although it has some properties that are desirable in this process, it is very bad on the environment and is not very safe to use. If you contact our company, we can give you many references to passivation documents, standards, specifications and procedures used in the industry. If you look on this site you will also find a lot of information.
