Stripping MIC-6 Alloy
What's the best way to strip MIC-6 alloy with a minimum dimension change on Anodize Type II (.001") thick or Type III (.002") thick with a dye & seal.

A very hot (at least 175f) Chromic Acid/Phosphoric Acid/DI water combination is the best way to go. There are commercially available products, or you may make your own. I prefer the latter of the 2. Sodium Hydroxide will really attack the Mic6, and will leave it very rough, and probably throw your parts out of tolerance.
