Corrosion resistant coatings for aluminum in evaporators
Can you suggest me which coating is best suitable for Aluminium alloy used in refrigeration evaporators to minimize corrosion. The corrosion experienced is mainly pitting corrosion due to action of H2SO4 and bacterias (SRB)and slime formers.

Without knowing much more about the environment these evaps are in, it sounds like you want either a standard chromate coating or a non-chromate coating. You can find these from these suppliers: Henkel Circle-Prosco (disclaimer: my employer)
Oakite Chemetall and others....
Depending on your specific requirements, a non-chromate will probably work if you want to go the chrome-free route.

In Florida there is a new coating being used that is clear glass coating that has been found to prohibit mold and corrosion. Look up catalyzed siloxane coating technology on the web. US Navy has tried it and it works.
