Double Color Anodizing
Does anyone know if its possible to anodize large titanium sheets (4"x8") in gold on one side and blue on the other side.

Yes, this can be done, but it must be done in two steps since these colors are voltage or current related. The blue color happens at about 18 volts at about 10 amps per square foot. Then this surface would need to be masked, or possibly run back-to-back with the blue on the inside, and then the higher voltage applied to obtain the yellow or gold color. I haven't done this for a while, but I think the yellow shades happen in the 30 volt range. To get the full spectrum of colors you will need about 50 volts.

Can aluminum be anodized in different shades of blue in a color fast manner?

Hi, James. Yes, the color of anodized aluminum come from organic dyes that the aluminum is immersed in after anodizing and before sealing. Most any color you might want is available, except white
