Seeking the aluminum etching process

2002

We're the manufacturing of tooling and stamping the metal components, the material such as SUS304, Al 5052 etc. For the Al component we used the tumbling process to get rid of the burr, but it only remove at the profile/edge of the part and still have a little burr in the hole.We would like to know about Etching process please advise for more information.

Note: Diameter of hole is 0.6 mm.

Thank you very much.

I suggest you use a smaller ceramic media, maybe 3/8" or 9mm angle cut cylinder to get in and work at the I.D. hole. The sharper the angle the deeper the penetration. Shapes normally come with about a 22 degree angle, 45 and 60 are also possible to get.
