Low Friction coating for fiberglass
I have an application that requires wear resistance on a fiberglass surface. I am thinking that a wear resistant chemical that has a low co-efficient of friction and would bond with fiberglass would do the job. The product should have smooth slick finish for low friction. We are currently using open mold spray up method to produce custom fiberglass parts. This chemical can be mixed with Gel coat or sprayed separately.

Nadeem,
Have you considered using a 2 component polyurethane?
Whether it will adhere or not to the FRP is another question particularly if you are using a high finish glossy mould.
No cheap! But if you will use FRP you can expect it to be poor in abrasion resistance in comparison to most thermoplastics..
I would doubt very much that you could 'mix' it with the gel coat as you'd be dealing with difference resins and and catalysts.
