Impact of Aluminum on Phosphate
I am working on a study for an auto company. They are looking to add aluminum parts to a vehicle and I am trying to understand the impact of the aluminum on the chemistry and facilities. This is a typical zinc phosphate system with a body that is made of cold rolled steel, galvanized steel and aluminum.
Thanks,

Hi Tom,
Not sure what you mean by "impact." If metal components go through the phosphating bath, a phosphate coating gets applied.
