Maximum thickness of zinc on various fasteners and other zinc plated components

We are the largest manufacturer of Scooter/Motorbikes in India. There are no of components like Fasteners, spokes , nipples which are Zinc plated and used on our vehicles. We have the Specification for Zinc thickness of 8 Micron Minimum. I would like to know, how we should decide the maximum thickness of Zinc on various fasteners and other Zinc plated components.
