HARD ANODIZE COOKWARE SURFACE POLISHING
I'm a hard anodized aluminum cookware manufacturer. One of my customers request a polished finishing of the hard anodized surface. I don't have technical information of the procedure for this. What kind of abrasive is the best choice? What type of machine is the best for polishing outside and inside the job? Any suggest would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Because of the configuration of cookware, I do not suggest a mass finishing system or abrasive blasting process. That leaves only mechanical hand or automated buffing or a chemical bright dip process. I'm not sure of the chemical process, but buffing will produce the finish you require. Cost efficiency will depend on volume.

Due to the nature and hardness of the hard anodizing, if you buff the surface after anodizing you will get a brigther surface and nothing else. Chemical polish won't work as it's usually performed before anodizing and because of the increased thickness you get from this process you will get a dull finish.
