Steel Selection for use in chemically harsh environment (Fertilizer Industry)
Gent's,
Just wondering if you could put me on to the most suitable Steel to handle the following conditions:
* supporting Venturi Bomb Current 50 mm 2rk65 SS bar
Environment:
Temperature: 70 degrees c
H2SiF6 irrigating at 100 m3/hr running over the bars at 15% in strength. (Fluoride 5%)
15% solids (therefore quite abrasive)
PH between 0.5 and 1.0
Your Help would be much appreciated
Kind Regards,

Jason, Look for Hastelloys. I think they have grades for your purpose.
