Separation of Potassium Pyrophosphate and Potassium Orthophosphate

Does anyone know of a way to separate potassium pyrophosphate, potassium orthophosphate, and copper pyrophosphate. We desire to get rid of the orthophosphate but if the potassium pyrophosphate and orthophosphate must remain together and only the copper pyrophosphate can be separated that would be ok.

Thank You,

Have not heard of a way to clean up copper pyrophosphate solutions. Dilution or making up a new tank seems to be the only alternative. Are you locked into copper pyro by spec? tom pullizzi animated    tomPullizziSignature

There are new dialysis units available for this. Since this is a new technology, it is still generally a lot of trouble to use and is costly in terms of equipment and expertise. The disk-drive people are the best Electroless platers in the business and they have stuck with bleed & feed process control rather than try to implement dialysis on a large scale. It may be beneficial to use one as an off-line reprocess unit, but as for the present nobody hooks them up to their plating tanks.
