Mild Steel Information

Hi,

I'm doing a project on Mild steel and I was hoping you could help me. I have a few questions for you.

1) What ore is mild steel refined from?
2) List 4 major mining sources in Australia
3) Briefly describe the mining process
4) What different forms or products is it processed into
5) Why is it known as mild steel Please help me.

If you can't could you just let me know so I can find another source of information.

Thanks,

Kayleigh Fewsdale
- Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Ask your librarian to guide you to the right shelf, Kayleigh :-)

You're not quite asking for guidance, but for someone to write your report. Or ...
1. Tell us what ore you think it's refined from and I'm sure someone will complete the details for you.
2. List 3 major mining sources and someone will give you a fourth.
3. You need to explain to us what you've read about mining first.
4. What different products is iron or steel processed into? Okay: buildings, bridges, cars, desks, tables, food cans. It's been the world's most popular construction material for a century now.
5. Simply type your sentence 'Why is it known as mild steel' into google and the first hit will explain it. Good luck. Ted Mooney, finishing.com
