Hi,
I want to remove the hard chrome coating deposited on the steel 4130. Any suggestion will be much appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Dear Mr Mahdey,
You can remove chromium from steel anodic in a solution of about 150-250 g/l sodium hydroxide. The voltage is about 2-6 V.
Kind regards,
